Light, privacy and design.
Working together.

A broad range of commercial window treatments, with manual and motorized options selected for the application.

What the room needs

Start with the space.
Then choose the treatment.

Appearance, outside views, glare, privacy, maintenance and budget all influence the right choice. MCS helps translate your requirements into a practical product selection.

Roller shades

A clean profile for offices, classrooms, common areas and student housing. Choose light-filtering fabrics for daylight and views, or opaque fabrics for privacy and room darkening. Full blackout also depends on how the shade and window edges are treated.

Manual operation

Clutch-operated roller shades and other manual systems provide straightforward control when occupants need to adjust individual windows.

Motorized operation

Wall controls, remotes, apps and programmed schedules can make shade adjustment convenient across multiple windows. Available functions depend on the selected motor and control system. Any required electrical work is the customer or GC’s responsibility and must be handled by a qualified electrician.

Fascias and finishing

Fascias cover the top of the shade for a neat, coordinated finish. MCS can discuss the finish and hardware required by the project.

A finished appearance

Understanding openness

Keep the view.
Manage the light.

Openness describes the open area of a solar-screen fabric. A lower openness generally provides more screening; a higher openness generally allows more view-through. Fabric color and lighting conditions also affect the result.

Solar-screen fabrics do not provide the same privacy in all lighting conditions. Discuss nighttime privacy and blackout requirements with MCS when selecting a treatment.
